Quantin Privacy Policy

Quantin is published by LADONNEE Consulting SARL à capital variable (“we”, “us”). Contact: support@ladonnee.com. Website: https://quantin.cash/.

This policy covers:

• The Quantin mobile and desktop apps (iOS, Android, and Mac), including free cash-flow tracking, goals, and CSV import/export;
• The marketing and utility pages on quantin.cash (including Saving Sim, Starter Pack, and donation pages).

It is intended to meet transparency expectations under Google Play’s Privacy, Deception and Device Abuse policies (including User Data disclosures) and applicable privacy laws where we offer the products.

• Quantin apps are offline-first: your recurring income, spending, savings, goals, and currency preference stay on your device.
• We do not require an account and we do not operate a Quantin backend that receives your cash-flow entries.
• We do not sell personal or sensitive user data.
• We do not ship advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs inside the Quantin apps.

When you use the apps, you may enter information such as operation titles, amounts, frequencies, validity dates, currency code, and optional monthly goals. That information can include financial information you choose to type in.

Access & collection: created and stored locally on your device (for example Android app storage / iOS Core Data or equivalent). We do not receive a copy of those entries.

Use: solely to calculate and display free cash flow, category totals, goals progress, and related in-app features you request.

Sharing: we do not share this data with third parties. If you use export/share features, you choose where files go (email, Files app, Drive, etc.). That transfer is initiated by you, not by us selling or uploading your ledger.

Security: data remains under your device’s OS protections. There is no Quantin cloud sync to encrypt in transit, because we do not transmit your ledger to our servers.

Quantin may ask the system for access needed to import or export CSV spreadsheets (document picker / share sheet). We do not read your photo library, contacts, SMS, call logs, precise location, microphone, or camera for the core product.

Imported/exported spreadsheet contents are processed on device for import/export only. We do not upload those files to LADONNEE.

Android and iOS may show their own system permission or file-access prompts. Granting access is optional for features that need it; refusing simply limits import/export.

• No account registration, email signup, or login inside the app
• No advertising identifiers used for ads (we do not show ads)
• No third-party analytics or crash SDKs that phone home by default
• No linking of persistent device identifiers (such as IMEI) to your financial entries — we do not collect those identifiers for our product
• No background collection of personal data while you are not using the app

Because we do not collect personal/sensitive data off-device through the apps, prominent in-app consent for unexpected background collection does not apply to Quantin’s core design. If a future feature changes that, we will update this policy and the product disclosures before collecting.

Quantin is a general-audience finance utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The apps do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Quantin is not directed at children as a primary audience.

There is no Quantin account to delete on our servers. To remove app data from a device:

• Delete entries inside the app, and/or
• Clear the app’s storage in system settings, and/or uninstall the app.

Copies you previously exported (CSV files you saved or shared) remain under your control outside the app.

The website is separate from the offline apps. When you visit quantin.cash:

• Our hosting/CDN providers may process standard technical logs (for example IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps) to operate and secure the site.
• We may use lightweight, first-party signals (for example local storage counters) to understand coarse funnel events such as visits to download or donate pages. These are not used to build advertising profiles and do not include your cash-flow amounts.
• The Starter Pack wizard builds a CSV in your browser. Your situation, housing choices, and amounts are stored only in your browser (local storage) to complete checkout, then cleared after download. We do not receive those values on LADONNEE servers.
• External links (App Store, Play Store, Stripe checkout for donations or Starter Pack, mailto) are operated by those third parties under their own policies when you choose to open them. Stripe processes payment only; it does not receive your starter pack line items from us.

Donation and Starter Pack payments, if you choose to pay, are processed by Stripe (or the payment provider shown at checkout), not stored as card data by LADONNEE in the Quantin apps.

The apps use standard OS and open-source libraries (for example UI toolkits and on-device databases). We do not include advertising SDKs. We remain responsible for ensuring that included libraries behave consistently with this policy for Quantin’s configuration (offline ledger; no sale of user data).

Where GDPR or similar laws apply, our processing related to the apps is primarily performance of a service you request (local calculation of cash flow you enter) and, for the website, legitimate interests in operating a secure marketing site—balanced against your rights.

We do not transfer your in-app ledger to LADONNEE systems because it never leaves your device under normal use.

We may update this policy as the product or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Material changes that introduce off-device collection will be reflected here and in Play Console Data safety disclosures before that behavior ships.
